Jacob is part of the Quileute tribe located in La Push. He is a direct descendent of Ephraim Black who was a true Alpha. Jacob however, did not want to take on the role of the Alpha (until Breaking Dawn when he going to save Bella and he becomes the alpha of his new pack:Leah and Seth). He falls in love with Bella when Edward left. He always loved her, and is against her becoming a vampire until it means her life to have Renesmee and he hates the baby because he has no hope that she will live. When the baby is born, his world changes and he imprints. Bella lives and Renesme lives so Jacob has a better life than he would have thought being the vampires pet.
